25 days and counting...big sis craving...

It's 25 days before X'mas, and i haven't prepared anything yet...shopping, X'mas tree decorating and some other stuff that is suppose to be done. This time, things will be different without big sis around. She is expected to deliver her first born some time on June next year. And with her condition right now, she said she is unable to go back and forth since she has to take a good care of her health. Those days, she used to be the one whose taking care of everything when Christmas is around. From house cleaning to tree decorating, it was all on her.

Just recently she told mum and lil sis that she bought herself two rings...yes 2 rings...there is no typo error here. Odd as it is, she told mum that she was not craving for any food lately but she was craving for JEWELLERY...and i thought "OMG", she must've spent her 2 months saving just to buy those rings. One of the gold ring was embroidered with I-don't-know how many carats of diamond, and the other one is just a simple plain ring with a bit of carving.

Big sis sure have her own big time there huh, i heard she is going to buy herself another jewellery...."OMG"

Weekend update...

Yet another weekend have passed, here is some recap of "what's-going-on" on last weekend:

Friday

Januarie (one of my colleague) got herself stressed out, probably due to workload and upcoming traveling (cause she is the leader) and decided to drag me together for a jog at Samajaya Recreational Park for a stress-release. We jogged for few rounds and I got myself a cramp on the hamstring, should've did a longer stretching session.

Later that night, after dinner read "Love, Rosie" for a few chapters and took a nap. Ok ok, it was merely a nap unfortunately i went into deep sleep for a few hours and was awaken by an sms from Llyod telling me that Jublin was planning a night out at usual place. After i read the sms? decided to take another nap, but this time it was really a nap cause not long after that (probably 20 minutes) Bryan smsed me a told me about the outing. Got myself off the bed around 10.30pm, gussy up a little and hit Amoebar with the clan. Went home at wee hour after a quick breakfast with Leo and Bryan at Petanak Market.
This picture was taken during Halloween Party last month, decorated with paper roll and dummies, okay only 1 dummy in the picture. Notice the guy with blue shirt? that's me. Sorry if the picture quality and the club was not up to the expectation, I'll show you guys some of Amoebar's pics later in the next post.

Saturday

Nothing much in the morning, only....ZZZzzzzz. Woke up at noon time. And did some laundry. Later that evening, went to Norbert and Rosemary's wedding Reception. By the way, i will update you guys with Norbert and Rosemary's wedding later (perhaps in the next post) with some colourful picture.

Sunday

As usual, church in the morning, and did some shopping with lil' sis. Nothing much in the evening, dad left for his travelling to Sri Aman.

"YES" or "NO"!

8.55 pm
-Arrived at X's house

8.56 pm
-Tried to call X but no one was answering.
-Tried to call X again, but this time with his other mobile number. Still no one answered the phone.
-Got out of my car and decided to wait outside of X's veranda.

"Maybe he is still in the shower" I thought. The weather was windy and cold, due to heavy downpour early that afternoon.

8.58 pm
-I noticed the metal bar (grill) of X's house was locked *Curious now*. So i decided to call X's housemate. Unfortunately, i can't get through her as well.
-Decided to sms X instead of calling, who knows he might reply.

9.02 pm- 9.20 pm
-Conversation with X via sms

Me:
I'm downstairs already...

X:
I'm still at my friend's house. I'm really sorry! I think i wouldn't be able to go back home tonight.*meaning there is not going to be any meeting*

Surprise and frustrated, so i replied...*in a polite manner*

Me:
Why didn't you told me earlier?

X:
I'm confused...he wants me to stay over for the night...

Me:
If you know that you will meet him, why didn't you just cancel our plan earlier? You know I've been waiting for you outside...in the cold...

X:
I forgot to update, I'm very2 sorry. I'm still confused...I'd love to hang out with you guys...and i hate the situation I'm facing right now :(

Frustration grew into anger, so i neglect X's sms. The weather send chill to my spine, so I went downstairs and got myself into my car again. And smsed Y telling him that X is not joining us for the night out.

X:
OMG, I am really2 sorry. I don't understand this guy...

I neglected X's sms again

X:
I owe you jer.

Me:
I believe you know the word "NO". I wouldn't mind if you said that to me earlier. Please don't hesitate to use it next time.*I was angry that time, so i stopped typing on the keypad and tried to cool myself down, realizing that the issue does not worth to be mention.* It's OK, I'm heading back already, waiting reply from Y right now, because we all planned the night out.

X:
Really sorry! Just proceed with Y k.

9.20 pm
-end of conversation.

Few minutes later, Y arrived together with Z and I told them that X is not joining. Well, they did asked but i said "it's a long story". Later that night, we had our late dinner at Mr. Potato Cafe and had myself a fried beehoon. (Ok, this part can be ommited). What i am trying to say here is, DO NOT KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE! and PLEASE DECIDE! IT'S JUST A MATTER OF "YES" OR "NO". You may have important things to do, but please inform others beforehand, and don't let them wait right in front of your door just so want to make a meet up and suddenly you said "i'm not at home".

Rumor has it

All Management executives from Research and Development unit (which includes me) are going to be deploy to Royalty and Enforcement unit. I do not know if it is true but I am hoping that all researchers from R & D would stay a little bit longer, well at least until we’ve settle down with our permanent job. We still have at least 2 months left for our probation, why don’t they just bear with it for a while?

You see, ever since I’ve been working with my current job. I just had this insecurity of losing the job and stuff. To date, I’ve been working with my current job for almost 1½ year. And have experienced the good and the bad of almost everything. Throughout my working experience with my current management, I have had heard lots of the bad thing, which I refuse to “digest”. And some of it was real. The changing lane in the management policy has long been questioned by others, “which direction are we now?”… A question I could not answer. Is it too confidential that they could not tell us?

The forthcoming consequences, and a contingency plan, I’ve seen and made it. Just hope for a good news in time to come.

The battle is over!

The battle is finally over, a total of 17 ME’s presented their paper on the two days seminar held in Seed Bank, congratulation guys! All your presentation was superb! Nonetheless, i could see from the reaction of our GM that we are, if not up to the satisfactory level, we are above expectation. Congrats once again!

So what’s next? Another PEC proposal of course :’( …*Sigh*

P/s: Love the conservation presentation, nice pics and interesting…
